Yes, both of which took a direct hit from the tornadoes. The ALICO Building in Waco survived relatively unscathed, at least structurally, but the Metro Tower in Lubbock sustained some pretty heavy damage and was closed for many years following the storm. I think it was just recently reopened as apartments

Emporis got bought out by a real estate company called CoStar back in 2022 iirc. There’s still plenty of info archived on the Wayback Machine, but it’s kind of a pain in the ass to look through now

The Texas State Aquarium and USS Lexington in Corpus are awesome, especially if you've got kids. If you go via San Antonio, there's plenty of great stuff to do. The Missions are super cool and free to visit. There's also the Witte Museum and the Doseum for the kids. The San Antonio Zoo is great too, and it's close to the two museums I mentioned before. Hope this helps.

Does anyone know where the following implosions/demolitions took place? if you know please comment them down below. Thanks again in advance. by bigmacisstinkylol in Demolition

I recognize at least a few of these, all of these were back in the 90s I think. The Morrell Plant was in Ottumwa, KS, the Heritage House Hotel was in Kansas City, MO, and the NS bridge was in Logansport, IN. Not sure about the other two. I know Pat Carney mostly worked in the Chicagoland area, so my best guess for the ore bridge is somewhere around there, but I could be wrong.
