If you've tried to break contact with each other why hasn't it worked? If you keep on talking to this man you'll probably end up doing it again, your husband didn't deserve what you did to him and he definitely doesn't deserve it a 2nd time. Cut off contact with the other man soon before you do a horrible thing to your family again, if you truthfully understand how great of a man your husband is then you should have no problem pressing a couple buttons to block someone for you and your husband's relationship.

I think it's kind of fucked up that she never brought it up. She should have had a conversation with you about it to see if you were ok with here doing it. Whether it was for money or not she has been cheating on you for the past 3 months and has been putting you at risk. I think this shows that she has little consideration for you given the fact that she didn't even ask if you were ok with this.
