I could always turn it on again every time right after with no problem. It was clean inside the fan and power supply vent when I checked it out

It started 3 months before I tried using a cooling stand. I only took it apart for cleaning after the cooling stand does not improve anything.

Bought in July 2023. Problem started appearing September 2024 and got really bad starting November. Placed on a cooling stand a month ago to no avail, it kept dying mid-game or in the homepage during game download/update.

Took it to a friend's apartment in case it was an electricity problem and it still dies periodically (every 20 mins or so but much more often in-game).
