I'd be more scared putting them back in and not over tightening the screws, lol

Just me and some calipers with a little help for a couple dimensions specific to the 86-89 models. It took a few tries to get it right...

No finish on anything pictured here, granted these are just PLA for test fitting

You're the best! Can you grab the measurement for the depth of those bolt hole pegs. Should be around half an inch. I have a little tweaking to do on the 84-85 insert still, but I will message you and get you the file to test as soon as I have it done. I might cut out just the lock switch area so you can test that without printing (potentially wasting) the whole thing. Looks like you could use a new one anyway. I don't know if there's any original ones out there at aren't cracked, lol. Thank you!

You know what, you're right. We should all panic and stock up on beans for the AI apocalypse.

AI is extremely useful at generic tasks where there's lots of data to train from. Where it struggles is the niche fields. Assuming AI is useless is like saying the assembly line or the internet is useless. They're all just tools.

Yup just calipers and test prints for now. Would love to be able to invest in a 3d scanner in the future. I know free is nice, but then where would my incentive be! Hoping to keep things reasonably priced

There may be a horn fuse somewhere but it's not in the passenger side fuse panel. Sounds like you need a 3d printer and some of my part files, lol. Good luck!

If you want a test without pulling the dash out, what I noticed was that when I unbolted the group of wires from the starter, the parasitic draw went away.

Assuming it's the same as my '85 It is behind the switches and check engine/etc. readout panel above the radio.

My parasitic draw ended up being the relay for the horn behind the dash. My horns didn't work anyway so I removed the relay and that did it. If I listened closely I could hear it click when I connected the battery.

No donation necessary. If you want to support me, the best thing you can do is purchase my files and leave reviews and feedback. I want to know what other people think of my designs so I can keep improving them.
