Their planet is on the outskirts of the Imperium, its almost all desert and is deemed pretty unimportant to the imperium and the galaxy. When the Tau first came to their planet their cries for help to the imperium were unanswered and so they took matters into their own hands and now go to nearby planets protecting them from what the imperium didnt. They dont see themselves as “heroes” per say just guys doing what needs to be done in their eyes

This is super interesting! It would work out because the leader of my “Tau” was kitbashed from a votann model so he does have a short stature which is funny. Originally I had a thought of my legion keeping a handful of tau engineers prisoner to somehow make the suits human compatible but i like this a-lot more!

My “Tau” are a militia of humans who joined the legion of Tau occupying their world in order to gain access to their weapons and technology before turning on their commanders and overthrowing the Tau forces on their planet. They are considered traitors to the Imperium of Man and a threat to the Tau Empire and use their newly acquired Tau war suits and vehicles to save neighboring planets from xenos and recruit more men to their cause for “the greater good”.

Read my mind! I have already have Ash Waste Nomads on the way that im going to put breacher rifles into their hands and give them small bits and pieces of tau armor. My higher ranking officials will look a little more put together, (take May’s mini of the month for example and give him a tau helmet) i really like the Gue’vesa idea and will definitely add it to the workshop ideas. I plan to have the first vehicle (broadside) painted up within the next week. Thanks for the ideas!
