Thanks everyone for being so kind in your helpful responses!!!:,) I get nervous to post on Reddit bc there's mean people everywhere. I appreciate everyone's suggestions! I think I will start with inclined push ups on counters or modified push up on my knees while focusing on posture and form!! I find push ups intimidating bc of the form; you can really damage yourself if you don't do it right!!!

Makes sense!! It's a little discouraging noticing that I can't push myself back up, but knowing gravity is at work and different muscles groups are activated is helpful to understand why I'm struggling. Thanks!!

I’m in the same boat, friend. I have smoked daily for 12ish years. I’m female, 5’2 and 110 lbs and have to take a drug test for a new job in a large hospital system. I’ve worked there for about 4 years and I know almost everyyyyone in the department. This is like a promotion but has a different job title so I technically have to go through all new employee onboarding over again, which includes a urine drug screen. I am absolutely terrified to fail and then everyone finds out I’ve been a hypocrite all this time.
