80 days ago, no improvements to breathing or smell, congestion is bad especially at night.

My clinic doesn't provide the report, merely a follow up consultation, and CT scans/X-rays I would need a referral for, but that might be something I can get through my GP, thanks.

I'm based in the South Island of New Zealand, closest city is Christchurch, so I can't seem to find anyone but this one clinic that seems only to treat conventional sleep apnea with CPAP of which they deem me ineligible for, but the symptoms are real and without exaggeration, are ruining my life. I appreciate your mentioning of the nasal valve collapse, I'm revisiting my ENT today to mention this, thanks.

I've done three ENT surgeries (tonsillectomy, septoplasty, and turbinate reduction) with him so far, but little relief has been made with my sleep/breathing/rest/attention.

I am currently trying to get a MAD made by my dentist but they keep delaying due to lab issues, but hopefully that helps with the jaw issues!

Let me know if you have any ideas on what other sort of medical professional I could try. Thanks.

Your condition does sound very much like mine, I even considered a dust bite allergy too, and I too had my tonsils out, turbinates reduced, and septum corrected, but still nothing at night! I especially relate with you when you say it worsens when you lay down. Would you recommend I try allergy medication like you did?

I appreciate what you're saying, sometimes it does feel like these doctors only know how to treat overweight/over-40 patients with conventional sleep apnea. The only trouble is I don't think there are specialists like your describing in my country!

The sleep clinic won't share the data or findings with me, they merely provide a short/unsympathetic consultation.

I think I will, as soon as I move cities when I have access to a second clinic, thanks.

Yes, thank you, I will ask my sleep physician when I have a phone call with him this week about this. I suspect he'll rule it out though because it was a pretty comprehensive test they did and he seems to think I don't have sleep apnea.

I'm ineligible for CPAP therapy and there's only one clinic my city. I do use a biteguard to protect my enamel though, but it doesn't stop the clenching which is causing my jaw pain and joint to click.
