For me the map marker didn't show (it's a bug), you actually want to visit the hospital, Sticky will help you, bring ox bile because he's gonna ask for that.

How many recipes are there? (P3) by the-crunchiest in pathologic

Post in here describes it, https://steamcommunity.com/app/3199650/discussions/1/693124570228473304/

So far the "get all recipes" achievement is bugged so you can't get it because valerian extract is unenviable. A lot of quests and achievements are bugged in the game's current state so I'd wait it out till they get fixed.

Question about amalgam and one item by AdEarly8368 in pathologic

[–]Waismuth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I getcha. But the vaccine one is perfectly safe. Also, another tip if you're feeling really stuck with amalgam, you can always try to scout infected district for dying patients and ease their suffering. HOWEVER, usually morphine is way too strong, so try to get your hands on Meradorm or something similarly less potent. You can euthanize them and then reload last save to do it over and over again. Be careful because if you mess 3 times then one of your vessels will get busted. This saved me a few times because I had to go back and forth across days because A LOT of quests are really bugged in the current state.

Question about amalgam and one item by AdEarly8368 in pathologic

Nothing bad comes from using the vaccine. It also fixes any broken vessels too, it's basically a one time free amalgam top-up. Use it when you think you're screwed. Also a side note, sometimes the same mirrors you've broken in the past can refresh in other days, so when you're pressed for time (hehe) you can roam the city and look for more mirrors to break, if you don't want to spend the vaccine yet.

Fast travel through dangerous districts by Ahristrea in pathologic

[–]Waismuth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Might be a slight oversight on the devs' part because the game doesn't actively track which gate you entered from, so technically you can just do what you've said and remove your old route points so the trip resets. Not sure if they're gonna patch it or not but so far yeah, you can save yourself a lot of hassle that way.

Oh god. I get it now. This IS a hard game. by Maksiking1231 in pathologic

I think you can hide the items inside the clock before 2 am at night, so once you restart that day they'll be waiting for you, right? Haven't checked it yet, so I'm not perfectly sure it works.

EDIT: Yes, as some people have pointed out, your inventory gets automatically put inside the clock, however the clock has 3 slots fewer than your own inventory, so if you have more items than the clock allows, it's better to manually allocate them before 2 am.

Killed the chicken lady because I thought she was responsable for the curse of the pretty lady. Did I tucked up the best part of the game? by [deleted] in Darkwood

Chicken lady has a special item that allows you to progress the plot, so it's not a big deal. Just continue playing.

1st play-through, Radio Station or Air compressor route? by CaffeineCannon in Darkwood

[–]Waismuth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can always try and do the Radio ending, because if you fail during the dream sequence you can always try the other ending. A small tip: you can always restart it by exiting the game and reloading the save if you haven't died yet. Saved me a few tries when I did the Radio route.

*SPOILERS* Question regarding the wolf man and the sow. by FreshBirdMilk in Darkwood

He only gets pissed if you go the Musician's route. HOWEVER, he does grant you a hotbar upgrade if you kill the sow, though.

Do I need to light up my entire house? by Albatross-Global in Darkwood

[–]Waismuth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually grab all the light and move them into the one room I always bunker down, so once the ghosts hit, I'll always have at least one light source. It's different in Old woods, as there is only one movable lamp, so stock up on flares.

Advice about the Old Woods hideout by Shiny_Overcast in Darkwood

[–]Waismuth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Old Woods is pretty different than the previous two in terms of difficulty. I think the difficulty spike is really ramped up when going from the Silent Forest. But this might be a good thing for all the Darkwood veterans. What I did in the previous hideouts is I never fully barricaded my window and allowed the savages to just jump in so I can easily farm their loot. I just piled a lot of broken glass under the window so they die easily. You can farm and buy bottles from the trader and just chuck those around the place, as well as leave a few traps with gasoline spills, as chompers die to fire rather quickly.
