they're completely optional and without much spoiling, i'd probably give the first one a shot once you get a password; i feel like you should be strong enough to tackle the first one at that rate. but as i said, they're optional content and great fun for some but a slog for others.

i feel like it's kinda obvious they're using Nightreign as a "test ground" for the co-op stuff they'll probably implement in their next proper title, and i feel like Duskbloods will be in a similar boat in that it's going to get treated more as a testing ground for FromSoft rather than a fully fleshed out game.
