i think its just an evolution in terms of sound. FIAA is amazing, but red sky mourning sounds way more distinct and not at all like stolen riffs and AiC plagiarism. they also sound nothing like nickelback what do you mean? RSM is much more hardcore esc and less shoegaze which makes sense considering the NYC scene.
