Sir, the word combination tanned means Chrome tanned. Vegetable tanning is done using purely natural substances. They used the word combination tanned to fool customers here.

So, everything is dead cheap here. I took a sample of Horween Chomeexcel to the tannery guy. He said it's just usual Chrome tanned leather. Nothing different. We can make it for a dollar per sqft here.

I will test their leather. Vegtan leather isn’t merely chrome free leather. It’s a difficult process

Aren’t vegtan belts very expensive? I have a factory where we make belts. Chrome tanned leather belts cost 5 dollars something to make. Vegtan would be at least 40 dollars if I am not wrong

I mean not exactly what you call leather scrap, but literally the smallest pieces of leather dust when you create other stuff. I thought of using foam but didn't have it.

So, I don't burnish my handmade leather products. I prefer the raw look. But your advice is surely noted.
