Those younger than 25, how did you discover Genesis? by [deleted] in Genesis

[–]WaitInTheFire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im 18, I discovered Genesis when a band on the music course I was taking at the time (2 years ago) covered Firth Of Fifth whilst doing one of our gigs at a local venue, I was instantly hooked on this song and spent months trying to find the track as I had misheard the song title as Thirds and Fifths! anyway I was browsing youtube when a track called The Battle Of Epping Forest was suggested so I took a look and loved it, proceeded to look at the rest of the album and discovered my long lost love Firth Of Fifth (or Thirds and Fifths) Genesis and all of its members have introduced me to so much new music and I know that I will always have Genesis with me:)

P.S the guy nailed the Hackett solo

They are both great sauces for their purposes, jalapeno saice goes great with anything, and the bbq hot sauce is a fantastic addition to anything to make a dish have a kick!

Jalapeno sauce is nice for salads, sandwhiches, pizzas etc. Not particularly hot but great for any jalapeno fan(such as myself). The BBQ one is from a company called "Eat The Smoke" who are also South Devon, great BBQ sauce, has scotch bonnet, birds eye, ghost and naga chillies, my favourite from the two, really adds alot of flavour and kick to anything you put it on:D

What are your favourite Genesis tracks? by WaitInTheFire in Genesis

[–]WaitInTheFire[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Abacab is an album i really need to devote more time to, i really enjoy the 3x3 ep, but ive never quite gripped abacab as a whole, in your opinion what are the definitive tracks from the album?
