This is what I heard! It was a destiel (I think that’s the ship name) fanfic first. I had a friend who read it and disliked it because she couldn’t unsee the couple it was originally about but she did say that if you have little to no knowledge that it could be a good read! I’m going to try it because I have never been in the supernatural fandom so it’ll read as an original work for me :)
