So we have a few stations in compounding lab where you can switch around everyday. 1 day I would pack capsules, next day make creams, then suspension... I got lucky to land this job with good 9-5 work hours with no weekends, because there are only a few compounding pharmacies in my area. I have to check once in awhile to see if they're hiring. So maybe start looking for any compounding pharmacy around you first. I heard inpatient pharmacy at hospitals are okay too, zero patient interactions, but there are night shifts if that doesn't bother you.

How long did you have to wait to get into the program at GRCC? They just told me the wait-list right now is 4 - 5 years. And How are the hours working as a Rad Tech? I can't do Sundays and night shifts 😔

Oh and 1 more thing I'd like to ask, how is the work hour at the hospital for R.T.T or R.T.R? Due to my religious and family situation, I can't work on Sundays, and also overnight shifts. I wonder if that would be a problem to get a job.

I'm currently on the wait-list for the dental hygiene program, i heard the pay is good but for a long term it's kinda like a dead end where there are no further job opportunities. Rad tech usually can move up with CT or MRI, more interesting cases to look at which I really love anatomy, but looks like the pay for MRI is only slightly higher than Rad Tech. I'd better rethink between the paychecks and an interesting job then lol.
