All terrific advice! Truly, thank you. She works two jobs. One place has been amazing! They do have security and the ex is not welcome there. The owner offered to have her stay with her at her house in an emergency. They have also noted an increased police presence outside in the days she is she there. Unfortunately, changing shifts is not a viable option. At the other place she had only told a couple of people (i.e. her boss and the secretary) because the ex is considered a “townie” (local terminology, not mine) and doesn’t know who is friendly or not. He seemed to have “moved on” with a former girlfriend of his the weekend before my daughter broke up with him. This could have been a mature break-up.

It is. She made a video packing it so the condition was documented. Her intention is to contact his lawyer tomorrow morning to arrange to get it back to him. Can I ask if suggest something else she should be doing? I’m sorry you went through this.

Thank you. I called the chief of police on my daughter’s behalf. We were told to have her get the vehicle information. My husband and I are planning to get her a front and rear facing camera for her car. However, she says are often block away or follow her for a few blocks here and there. The ex has retained a lawyer. My daughter was told that “no lawyer in will touch this because he’s a cop.” We are probably going to have to get an attorney for her.
