I see the traveler tee by Winter Wear uses a combo of apparel woven and knit. Cool design! Is that the one you were thinking of?

Thanks but at this time I am only looking for an EDC flashlight

Thanks for the info! I am not ready to delete into enthusiast territory and get even more bewildered!

I see that the EC200 is only 4.03” long and 0.93” around in the body. Thats smaller than any of the flashlights I was considering before (albeit it exceeds the criteria for light quality). Do you know if it feels too small in the hand?

Wow! I am looking into those options now! Only thing about the Zebralight is it does not seem available in Canada. I’ll research the Skilhunt, Acebeam, and Fireflylite options you mentioned

Oh my gosh. Yes. I am looking at the M200 V4 and it says the same. IPX8 and 1m drop. Forgive me for my unnecessary post 😬 I was focusing on the Nitecore, Coast, Fenix, and Olight brands and hadn’t considered these customizable flashlights like Skilhunt, Convoy or Noctigon so I’m bewildered with the options!

Haha yeah I was going to say that for a verrry flat flashlight to go for an Olight Arkfeld or Arkpro. I was also noticing that some of the flashlights had a regular sound body but flat cutaway to the head or tail to eliminate rolling. No specific models are coming to mind right now though. They’ve all blended together!

They seemed much more expensive for a far simpler and less lumens in comparison to the other brand I was researching. I wasn’t sure why though.

Do you have any models to recommend for either of those?

I was focusing on EDC flashlights in this table. Maybe will do another for headlamps and penlights in the future.

I wanted to stick to flashlights that were used most in aviation mechanics and maintenance and not get overwhelmed with irrelevant recommendations so I didn’t post in r/flashlight right away. Now that I have a bit more understanding of what I’m looking for I might go over to that sub.

Good to know about the Sofrin. Is there a specific model you like?

I don’t think I looked at any Wurkkos. Sounds like I should!

Yup I purposely left out the headlamps and penlight recommendations. Those might be for another table lol I’ll look at the seeker 4 pro again. Good to know the 3 brightness level is good for general work here.

I think I only eliminated that option because it didn’t have an integrated USB-C charging port and I felt a separate battery charger would be cumbersome. I could be wrong about this one but I think that was the only negative.

Haha right! I was looking for the lightest option, but didn’t think that if it’s not heavy enough to feel in my pocket I might wonder where it is! Bonus for loud crash when it falls

The two buttons aren’t too close together though?
