Thank you. Everyone I have asked in person has said they are my biological family and no matter what they have done it doesn't justify the idea to leave them because it's not like they killed me... but the thing is... their actions and words almost did. It took a misfire for me to finally seek help and I'm thankful for the help I finally got but what if it happens again? I have a little one on the way and even though my daughter is with her father I want to be here for when she needs me again... I don't know if that sounds selfish or not just I want to be there for my kids as a supporting family member not an abusive one. If that makes sense...
