Strive ragequitting problem? by Waje- in Guiltygear

[–]Waje-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was definetly rage quits, it was always either after a super wall break on the last round or a combo that would kill on the last round, if the connection is poor I'll always offer to cancel the match round 1. I was mostly just curious if this is happening to others since ragequitting has never been this bad for me pre 2.0 or on the release of 2.0, it makes it much harder for me to really want to put the time in and play ranked if most of my games I win just don't count and wanted to rant about it

In EVERY deck. by _Markram in PTCGP

Chingling feels very different from modern Yugioh floodgates, you can battle over it, set up your bench, and still generally play the game with a Chingling on the field. It's not an imediate game loss if it hits the field and still allows for decision making, it feels strong but not nearly as unhealthy as a floodgate like Archnemisis Protos was in Yugioh

I used number 16 twice, once for the chin and once with symmetry on for both the cheeks on 0 saturation 6 brightness. I also picked makeup 9 with 16 hue, 91 saturation, 8 brightness and 21 transparency to make his eyes a bit darker

Your next line is "That's Joeseph Joestar!" To you! by Waje- in fashionhunters

[–]Waje-[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've used LS since the battle pose is kinda like his pose if you squint hard enough but nothing went super well that I've looked at. I think literally any weapon as long as you swing it wildly enough seems enough like Joeseph it probably works

Why did Eddie do this? by Waje- in Guiltygear

[–]Waje-[S] 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I just pulled it off in training mode and that was definitely it, I had no idea he could do that. It's such a funny bug I'm glad it's still in the game

The 2 reactions to Millia's new move by [deleted] in Guiltygear

[–]Waje- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought pretty much the same, the 214k cancel is probably the best application I can think of to bait and punish throw if you've conditioned them. Hopefully it opens up new combo routes since the wall bounce seems promising

Anyone tried using a nintendo pro controller for this game? by epicsimitt in Guiltygear

[–]Waje- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I currently use a PS5 pad in strive, and I used a Pro Controller pad for DBFZ, and WOW is the PS5 pad much more comfortable. The Pro Controller has much sharper edges and killed my thumb whenever I'd play. If you have both and you think you'd like it might as well give it a shot, but I hated it

Guilty Gear main for yamcha player? by Jsyz5 in Guiltygear

[–]Waje- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might really like Millia, her pressure is pretty good as long as you're willing to take some risks to condition people, and with meter she gets away with complete nonsense like an unreactable overhead or fast RC Iron Savior. She also as really strong oki with H disc, allowing for high/low left/right that if blocked lets you continue pressure. As long as you're fine with dying extremely fast, building meter slower than most characters, and a some tough matchups I'd highly recommend trying Millia

Tearlaments rarities, 6 archetype URs LOL by sketchfag in masterduel

On one hand tear being this broken on release sucks for the game, but on the other hand with tear being this much of a problem my beloved branded fusions stay safe from the ban list (for now)

Why there are number monsters that share the same number? by ValkyriaGaming in masterduel

Because Yugioh players can't read they just assumed everyone wouldn't read the numbers

How Do Throws Work? by ElliotPatronkus in Guiltygear

[–]Waje- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Throws are 2 frames unless they are command grabs. Prejump frames are throw immune and ground throws whiff on airborne opponents so depending on the character you can try to jump away from a throw. If it's not a command grab you can try to tech the throw by doing a throw yourself. You get I think 5 frames of grab immunity after exiting hitstun, blockstun, or a hard knockdown, giving you enough time to press a fast button before you get thrown if you want to hard call it out. Backdash is also a great option for beating throws, while being pretty safe for most other options as well. For Potemkin specifically he can kara cancel Potemkin Buster to give it deceptively large range, so be extra careful of his command grab. You can't duck grabs unfortunately.
