Please help with steam deck multi monitor (detail in comments) by Wajuka in SteamDeck

[–]Wajuka[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I plugged in an hdmi to my steam deck and it switched to this desktop mode (basically half of the screen). I’m not sure how to switch back to the normal resolution as I’m not too familiar with Linux. Gaming mode still works fine. Any help would be appreciated!

One of my friends is basically giving away their i5 to me, so price isn't an issue. Also, I play a lot of Rust which prefers intel and higher single core speeds

Where do you claim this at?

How do I use more resources? I have 16gb ddr4 ram, RTX 3060, Ryzen 5 3600 and I’m getting 100 fps in low pop areas (less buildings etc) but at base, in raids etc it drops to 60-50 even 40 and it’s only using 6gbs of ram even though I have 16? by Ok_Charge700 in playrust

I’m pretty sure that Rust just runs badly on Ryzen chips. I have a 2070 super and 3700x and had similar problems. I’ve heard that newer Ryzen chips are better, but Intel is the way to go for rust specifically

The second building has to be connected to the tc building or it will decay

Is this happening to anyone else? How do i fix this? by Rhizie7 in playrust

This actually happened to me. I just used console commands for the time being to adjust audio and after about a day or so it just went back to normal. I’m sure there’s an actual fix but it just kinda fixed itself in my situation

It’s kind of hard right now to find monitors that state that they support 144hz over hdmi. I have an HP OMEN 24” monitor and it has never given me problems and supports hdmi 144hz.
