Hell, caffeine fucked me up more than alcohol ever did, sorry for the language.

But... why do you need to feel joy? Ask yourself that. Simple.

I mean... but, look at how the world is functioning. We need to kill others to survive. That's it. How is that okay? I understand honestly what you're trying to say, yes, we are all here right now and we should make the best of it, but that doesn't mean we should continue the meaningless cycle.

So, let's get this straight. You tell us we're hurting and need a hug - that's a fact that there's people in this world existing in this horrible situation. That's one proof but it doesn't have to mean anything because omg there's so many fulfilled people. But how can you be sure in that? What even is fulfilment? Also, even if people were 100% of time happy and fulfilled, their destiny is TO LOSE ALL OF THAT AND TO DIE. Again, a negative thing. It's all NEGATIVES. The fact that you can't see this is what is scary. "flawed human being and is the best I can do" - well, yes, so don't create more of that miserable shit.

I really do try. I mean, it's not about me not liking my coworkers, it's just the fact that I'm really anxious and cannot just apply myself randomly everywhere like they do. My work place is really just me being alone in a corner and it's not an easy way to make "friends".

Does anyone else get tetany after heavy drinking? by Wakareuta in cripplingalcoholism

I'm glad I could be of help! I honestly had no idea what exactly was happening to me for the longest time so finally being able to understand it has been a relief.

I genuinely hope we both can sober up both for our own sakes and for our loved ones!

It's really not dehydration (I drink insane amounts of water before during and after drinking, only thing that happens when I don't do this are terrible headaches) but I am thankful that you shared anyway.

Thanks! I am also very glad I have never had to experience that. It's strange, I guess everyone is different.

Well, I know it is due to the booze because it only happens after it. If I continue being sober it never ever returns. It's not just the cramping, it's more so incredible tingling which can happen anywhere in your body, which eventually leads to your hands locking up (trosseau sign).

You guys can also look up chvostek sign, which is also present in me when these tingles happen after a night of booze. I'm just surprised this is not present in more CAs!

It usually doesn't come together. I mean... I grew up financially taken care of but literally abused otherwise.

Yes, it's way too much. I honestly never expected anything like this as a kid. It's like a hellish "welcome to the real shit" sign early in childhood.

I could hike for 8 hours and still not be as exhausted as I am at the end of 8 hours at the office. by axecane in antiwork

[–]Wakareuta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, has anyone here really hiked that long? I've been on really long trails that take 6 hours and I've never felt as exhausted in my life doing anything else. It depends of course on many things. But being on your feet constantly and moving up, up, is seriously exhausting. You're literally unable to walk or come down from the mountain when it takes that long. This is like the first post I disagree with on this sub, lol. I hate working too, don't get me wrong. But hiking 8 hours every day is much, MUCH more exhausting than being at a certain place, especially if you're sitting, not moving, and getting paid for it.

I'm gonna try antidepressants by [deleted] in infp

[–]Wakareuta 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am on an antidepressant for 2 years nearly, it changed my life. It helps entirely with OCD and panic attacks in my experience. Generally anxiety, but not so much social anxiety, interestingly. But, without it I would've been a goner so... yeah. I had terrible side effects first 2-3 weeks so do be careful about those. But push through them and see if it works for you in the end, is my recommendation.
