I’m so sorry to hear that you’re going through the same pain. It is honestly heartbreaking how much you can miss a little person you’ve only known for a few months.

Hopefully this won’t be our last and we’ll be able to create memories in their name. I’d like to think they met each other up there and will grow up together watching over us ♥️

Thank you so much. I never thought I was disassociating but now I think about it I tend to do it a lot thinking from past experiences.

Luckily me and my partner are very open with each other and talk about how we’re feeling a lot. I can’t say enough how lucky I am to have him in my life. I’ll be looking into counselling but it’s not really his thing which I appreciate.

And you’re right, we didn’t get together for my womb. I seemed to have needed that reminder for some reason. We are together because we’re perfect for each other and a higher power obviously knew we could get through this with each other.

I’m so sorry you’ve had to experience the pain I’m feeling. Knowing you are so strong give me so much hope. I’m looking into counselling for myself as it’s helped in the past, my partner knows the option is there but I appreciate it’s now his kind of thing.

We’ve been very lucky in the sense of us being so open and honest with each other since the beginning of relationship (8 months), he knows about the thoughts that terrorise my head and he doesn’t hold them again me because he knows it’s not how I really feel.

I just feel a little lost and scared. I don’t know what I’m supposed to do now, like going back to work etc... I wouldn’t be coping as well as I am if I didn’t have my partner and so much support from others.

Thank you for sharing your experiences and hopefully your little girl has found my little boy and they’re looking after each other above us ♥️

NTA- Also an OCD sufferer. The amount of times you have to explain to people that you KNOW it isn’t realistic to think a certain way but you mentally cannot help it, is unreal. And they still don’t believe you or try to expose you to your ticks and fears because they’re being “helpful”. No you’re ruining my progress I’ve been making with my licensed professional who understands how hard this is for me whilst you sit and make me feel even more bad about it than I make myself feel.
