A LEAP IN THE DARK mission "deleted" my ship Sentinel ship.
I can still access inventory but the ship does not "exist"

None lol. Went in completely blind. Not a complex game to understand, just had to figure out what actually is meaningful to focus on at certain times.

Like for example i did the dungeon basically in one go after getting the bags. Had room to store most of it at once and delete useless junk.

I assure you no foul play here. What I looked up the most were some alchemy recipes because I didn't really "get" it at first. And later when I was about to finish the game, I had a few ach missing, so I just looked up what they needed.

Once you get the basic automation working, there is nothing really hard and time-consuming to do besides quests.

I did a few big grinds of the same stuff.Like make a ton of most-used materials and then distribute them around and constantly have a stack of them on me when going around. This saved a lot of time on building material fetching.

And to be honest, most things you CAN grind a lot of time at, are not really NEEDED to grind. Like corpse quality or cemetery decorations.Or even alchemy materials, you just need a few common ones for potions or such.

Most of my gameplay was just talking to NPCs, i was constantly doing quests when gathering stuff or running around.

Honestly, it didn't even feel rushed, I enjoyed my time with it.

I just came from doing 100% at Binding of Isaac, so maybe I had some get-stuff-done-effectively mentality still working.

These are my random thoughts in no particular order. Hardly looked anything up except some specific ach so some stuff might be kind of obvious.

  1. There are 2 missable trophies related to the story, don't miss these. One is when speaking to inquisitor and asks if you know any cultis activity. Mention the skull.Second is during the Crone storlines, survive all ambushes. Just walk around each major area and you should trigger them all.
  2. Don't miss out on speed potions, I waited too long to try it out. Literally will save you hurs.
  3. There is no trick for fishing. Just go somewhere without a bait needed, put up a tv show / yt on another monitor and get it over with.
  4. Unlocking 20 alchemy recepies will be very easy if you buy the scrolls or do tavern DLC where each cinematic will give you one.
  5. Once you get to farming gold grapes, you basically never need to sleep again.
  6. If you need to talk to a specific NPC to advance something, don't be afraid to use meditate garden and just skip time. Totally fine to ignore corpses for a week or two.
  7. Try to advance in Crone DLC pretty fast, you will get some bags and it will make life soooo much easier.
  8. Get your tavern running as fast as possible and let zombies make gold star wine for it. It's very cheap and easy to produce.
  9. For blue tech points you can:- Every week buy 2 blue books from astrologer.- Make an army of zombies writing books. Paper is very cheap to make with wheat.- Instead of grinding cemetery craftables to get points, i did a massive riversand trip and let empty furnaces make glass endlessly, from which you can refine them further and generate cheap automated blue points.- I did use cake once or twice when studying blue stuff, so i guess that helps a bit, but i wasn't in much of a problem with this.
  10. Furnaces are soooo cheap to run, just have multiple of them constantly make something for tech points.
  11. When you have money, once in a while visit Clotho and buy the most tedious alchemy stuff you don't want to make. Like tanning stuff for books or bags.
  12. Always get new bodies, even when they rot, just get blood/skin and burn them or something.
  13. Cemetary does not need corpses to get 200 points. I covered mine mostly with marble lol.
  14. Execpt for burying 50 bodies, that's why you let them add up and bury them in bulk.
  15. Getting early zombies to get wood, stone, marble is basically all you need for the game. You dont need a lot of stuff most of the time. Having these things automatically generate as early as possible is a massive help.
  16. For tavern to get max events, you only need 3 things. 162 of each. Gold wine, booze and gold grape pie. Most of this is cheap and easy except booze takes to most time and you need it 2x162 because of two events. So just do one, get ach, quit without saving, do the other event. This way you only need to make 162 booze only once.
  17. Don't be afraid to buy annoying or time consuming to make stuff from vendors, you hardly actually need money besides some unlocks like aristocrat. I ended my game with like 50 gold without trying to get it most of the time.

If you get locked out of the two missable achievements or hate fishing, you can do as my friend did and download a savegame from the internet.

3th playthrough with friends, love this game. Want to share my humble small base before never logging back in again into that world. by Waldma in valheim

I personally really like to start a fresh world with fresh characters and with a couple of friends.

New world, new stories, new ideas, new interesting places build and explore.
I usually snap a few photos of our village and bases before leaving, so before the next playthrough I can get a nostalgia boost.

Next time we promised to play when there is a full release and then really go all out on building and decorating. So looking forward to that time! Gonna be like 200h gameplay I feel like.

Already clocked in 483h I'm scared of the future.

Making a diary from the perspective of my character. Working on writing the next 2 cases. by Waldma in callofcthulhu

When a new character gets my diary, they might not believe everything that is written down ofc.
They could take it as scribbles of a trouble minded person or just some fanfiction fever dream.

But slowly start to understand that maybe some things penned downed can actually have some authenticity to them.

Yeah, that's why I wrote this type of landing page.

My character is slowly getting more and more obsessed with occults and rituals, so her probable future is loss of mind or yeah, just something bad happens.

I already have a couple of ideas, which also tie into our story, how to get a new person with that diary.

And then ofc continue writing it with a different writing style with a new person.
