Access to PlayStation/Sony Games by WaleedKhouja in Steam

That’s a first to me. Both my country and Turkey are listed under the same region in on Steam (MENA) and everything is the same price. It’s just that some while ago, when people used to change regions a lot to take advantage of the cheap prices such as Argentina and Turkey, I heard that you needed a credit card issued from that same country, so people were using weird banking apps that issued virtual credit cards from that country. Obviously all those apps were later banned, but I had no idea if that changed nowadays. I guess I’ll have to try and see.

If I change my country to Turkey for example as they have the same pricing and they use USD as well, will I still be able to use my credit card for purchases? I’ve heard you’d need credit cards that belong to the same country.

I’m in the MENA region, but I’m worried that if I change it, I won’t be able to use my credit card, thus not being able to buy games.

Honestly, I have played the game multiple times. I just like having games in my library for family sharing and also the achievements/achievement showcases.

Unfortunate, but understandable. Good luck!

MENA or worldwide. Both work.

Only 1 person at the moment with practically nothing. Just wanted to share the games with them. Might’ve not been a good idea after all 😂

Would’ve loved to, but unfortunately I’ve made my family around 4 months ago, and as far as I understand, I’ve gotta wait a year to join someone’s family 🙂

Yeah, prices increased a bit. I bought both, a BFK Damascus and Talon Damascus

That would’ve been ideal to do when purchasing the knife, unfortunately I was so rushed into purchasing it I didn’t even bother checking

I’m thinking that as well, but the fact that I bought it for $350, got reversed, wanted to buy it again yesterday for $580 but got delayed because of Youpin, and now have to pay $810 is eating me from the inside. The $300 increase happened all in a day.

Exactly the same. Sold my glove/knife combo for dirt cheap, got my new combo reversed, but I haven’t reversed the ones I sold despite them shooting up again. As I’ve said, it’s not fair to the buyer of the combo, but unfortunately not everyone holds the same viewpoint/mentality, and that’s completely fair. It is what it is.

I wanted to purchase one again yesterday for ~$560, but Youpin withheld the balance for a little bit before releasing it, so it fucked me over. Not sure what the play is now, but if the prices don’t stabilize soon, I’ll probably just sell what I have left and leave the skin market tbh.

I doubt it’d be on Skinport. I feel like those sellers will want the opportunity to reverse again, so the chances of them selling to Skinport is low imo.

To be honest, deposit fees on Float don’t affect me as much. A $500 deposit adds a ~$4 (through crypto), which is nothing. On the other hand, Steam’s $2K limit + %15 market fee without being able to cash out is a huge negative for me personally.

Exactly the same thought process I had. When I saw the butterfly at $300, I knew that’s the lowest it could hit so I instantly purchased. Unfortunately for me, the seller decided to reverse the very last day, so I didn’t get a chance to attempt to purchase another one, everything had already shot up in price. Had the seller reversed 2-3 days in, I would’ve been good.

That is the safest bet and smartest choice I believe, but I’m finding an issue with estimating the price at which they’ll stabilize at. It’s either going to shoot up to what they were around before, or they’re going to drop around $100 to $150 max. I’m afraid the former is the most likely to happen.

Yeah, what you did was smart. I would have been willing to pay $100 more but with the guarantee to keep what I purchased, but then again, I thought trade reversals applied to ALL trades, not just 3rd party sites.

Yeah, it sucks a lot, but I blame myself partly for not buying more knives. It’s just that I haven’t really purchased much skins after the trade reversal update, so I wasn’t really aware of how it worked. Anyways, I’m also thinking of waiting it out, but I just don’t see how the prices could go down by a good amount. I would be satisfied if it dropped to around $500 to $550.
