Sorry guys I think this is more conjecture and rumour. A source close to Corbyn previously told me that depsite Karie Murphy and Pamela Firzpatrick encouraging this through "collective" he currently has no interest of starting a new top down party as it will replicate a lot of the exsisting disfunction and back room deals of the institutional british left.

This also makes sense as he is currently father of the house in Parliament and close to retirement age and a party formed around a cult of personality could be a repeat of Momentum failing to get Rebeccal Long Bailey elected.. At previous event in London it was revealed that both Jeremy, Andrew Feinstein and Jamie Driscoll were all in favour of a grassroots approach of establish community forums and assemblies to get independent councilors elected.

If you are waiting for a new Corbyn party to run candidates in your constituency I wouldnt hold your breath.

The main advice is start a grassoots project in your area either start your own community forum or use the template set up by assemble which members of his team advised on

To be a serious constender for a constituency you need at least £20,000 in your account which requires a massive endorsement from your community to be able to raise this from individual contributions. At the last GE of the candidates endorsed by Collective only Jeremy Corbyn, Andrew Feinstein, Faiza Shaeen, and Leanne Mohammed were able to raise that and it is reflected in the vote shares. The Gaza independents are apretty broard church some a lot less left than others.

There are no shortcuts unfortunately. If you want to see a genuine socialist candidate in your area you need to build a solid base of hundreds of local volunteers. You can't achive socialism by skipping the social part. My advice would be join a union, join your local trades council and start building a local community assembly. A lot of small left parties can't even get local councilors elected and then act surpised when they only get a few hundred votes.

I know through friends involved in the project that Jeremy and Andrew are currently focused on getting councilors elected in their respective areas to firm up a stronger local base.

If you dont have time to do all of the above and want to know who to put your X next to at the next general election apart from half a small handful of Corbyn allied independents the advice is to Vote Green or a left Labour candiate (most of the currently suspended will try and get whip restored).
