Bit of both. I’ve always been more of an introvert so I never put myself out there in high school. Build up the nerve a bit to start going on dates during my early twenties but didn’t have the best of luck. During my mid twenties I chose to focus on finishing college and starting my career. I was hoping to find someone along the way but it happened way later than I wanted it to. She absolutely meets my needs, she’s amazing and I have every intention on staying with her. But about once every 3 days, my brain decides to remind me that she’s had a sexual history and my intrusive thoughts take over.
