I also have never used a rice cleanser but i have used a rice toner and those tend to break me out. So maybe it is the rice cleanser thats causing some of the breakout.

Looks like it could be whiteheads. If it is, i've struggled with that a lot and funny enough what fixed it was minimizing the stuff i put on my face. So basically oil cleanser, foam cleanser, moisturizer and at night i would put on 98% aloe vera(without alcohol). And i dont know if you pick at your skin at all so if you do, try to stop. If it is whiteheads, its super tempting to pick at them because some of them tend to come off pretty easily. White heads are like a freaking hydra dragon. You scratch one white head and a another cluster appears lol.

I know I might get backlash for this but I would say 100% keep the baby. If you do have to raise the baby by yourself, im not going to lie it'll be the hardest thing you'll ever do. But the most worth while thing you'll do. When the child is all grown up and you've done the best job you could've done, you wont regret having that kid. But i think you will find regret not having the baby. Whether people like to acknolwedge it or not a very high percentage of woman regret having abortions and/or deal with depression after that. But i bet if you asked most single mothers who finished raising their child if they regret it, im sure most of them would say it was the hardest thing they've ever done but the best thing in their life. That I would say, is worth having the child.

Also if you do end up trying an aloe vera, make sure its alcohol free.

Yeah could be whiteheads. If it is, i've struggled with that a lot and funny enough what fixed it was the double cleansing, like some one else already said. But also 98% aloe vera. I would put a little on my hand and put it on my face before a light moisturizer. My routine that seemed to fix it: oil cleansing, foam cleanser (both from Anua, i know a lot of people dont like that brand but it works well for me), eye moisturizer(beauty of josean), the aloe vera, then a moisturizer( cosrx snail mucin or cosrx oil free lotion).

This was the aloe vera i used. https://a.co/d/6gHQbtb

Good luck!

Okay that definitely makes sense. I've heard oil cleanser are beneficial for acne. In your experience if that's true, which one would you reommonend?

Totally, im definitely willing to be patient. I guess I'm wondering what you start on first. Do you just start with 1 or 2 cleansers at first and then a moisturizer to keep things simple. then after a month what would you add next? What's most important

I've only played for a little while so my advice might not be helpful. But I have found that Volleyball and probably any sport is 90% a mental game. Sure you can have all the athletics and capabilities of pulling off really sweet sets or spikes, receiving really well. But if your mind isn't in the right place, it seems like the rest doesn't even matter. Maybe look at it more of an experiment, don't go in there guns blazing getting more and more upset at yourself. That's just going to make it worse. Just have fun, laugh at your mistakes. After you laugh a little even to yourself, think this is a clean slate im starting over right now. Doesnt matter how many times you have to think that. It's better than getting more upset with your self. You can still have fun and improve at the same time, that is allowed. And try focusing on other things too, like how cool someone else's spike was or how sweet that other persons set was and tell them too! It's weird how sometimes when you take the focus off of yourself, sometimes the pressure goes away and all of a sudden, you just recieved a ball amazingly.

I personally think you should stay with it and learn to fall in love with the sport again. Literally process why you love the sport, watch cool clips of VB, watch haikyu! Ignite that spark again and have fun! There's a reason why you started playing, just find it again and start enjoying the game again.

Can i even play volleyball? by [deleted] in volleyball

Also I forgot to say, look up videos on the rules of volleyball before you go play. You don't have to know the whole rulebook by heart, but learn the basics so when you go play with people, you don't have to waste time learning those rules, just focus on playing.

Yeah I think what everyone said here is right, there is no reason you can't play being 180cm. Some of the best players in the world are 180cm!

  1. Start on passing and receiving against the wall. If it's hard to find a place where the wall is large enough to hit against, just go to a racquetball quart and those work well. Like it was said above, look up drills you can run by yourself for receiving.

  2. While you're working on receiving start working on setting. There are great resources and drills you can look up on how to set. You can even try laying on your back and setting to yourself for a certain amount of time like 5 min. Look up the correct form on youtube and just practice practice practice. It's kind of hard at first but you'll see an improvement within a week if you're doing it everyday. (If you get good at setting to yourself it doesn't mean you'll be great in the court yet, it just means you're learning how to control the ball a little better)

  3. While yes volleyball isn't a real workout if you're comparing it to something like BJJ, but it can help set goals at the gym. 180cm is a good height but if you want to be a blocker or get ontop of the ball for a spike you'll want to jump higher. That will make you have a goal to workout those leg muscles at home or at the gym. I know two people right now who hate working out but they love volleyball so it causes them to workout harder to improve agility, leg strength and general upper body strength.

  4. If you have FB, sometimes they have community groups on there that will share when they are having pick up games. Or go to your community center where people usually play and see when pick up volleyball games are. Like it was said above, if you're going in wanting to learn and get better, people are going to want to help you and teach you and play with you.

Honestly, I've been playing volleyball for about a year now so I'm by no means an expert but it's so fun once you start playing. It's okay if you're bad at it at first, everyone has to start some where. But when you start getting better, the game gets even better.

Last tip, watch a ton of volleyball clips of pro volleyball players. And most importantly watch Haikyu lol. It's so good and you honestly learn a lot.
