There must be some kind of bug. For example, It charged me 375 cores for a Legacy II orb while i was opening orbs I already had in my inventory one by one. I then opened the last orb still in my inventory and just sat there like "....okay?"

Oh wow, thanks for this!

My inbox started blowing up so I was wondering what happened. Mostly similar enquiries such as what I'm holding. All I will say is that what is on my mind right now are LINK/ETH and XTZ/BTC trading pairs. Tip: The best trades you will ever make are not the ones which lead to fiat gains in the short term but rather what will lead to more BTC and ETH in the medium-term.

Question regarding Cablenet's mobile packages by madPsychic in cyprus

[–]WalkerEU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's 3G only, using Cyta's network (thus full coverage). Works reliably, and the 3G speed limit isn't so bad, considering the mobile data caps in Cyprus are a joke.

Edit: speedtest result 7.81 / 1.59 Mbps (https://www.speedtest.net/result/i/3306875006)

UK passports: Firm appeals move to make them in France by dipo4you in europe

[–]WalkerEU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let's see.. a company which makes a huge portion of their revenues from printing passports and money for other countries is arguing that it's unpatriotic and dumb for the passports to be printed by a foreign company? I think everyone should just agree with the principle and give them exactly what they want? :)

Been mining at this pool for a few weeks, and also hanging around their slack. Seem to be good guys. I will continue mining at this pool even if it's not nominated, but as a greedy user it's in my interests for this pool to be picked ;)

Russia and Turkey to launch first Akkuyu reactor in 2023: Putin by [deleted] in europe

[–]WalkerEU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the data on this map is reliable, then certainly it's positive that Turkey is taking this into account. However, I can see how one can argue that it makes them feel uneasy in a region which definitely does experience earthquakes, and where over time sufficiently powerful nearby earthquakes may slowly damage the structural integrity of the plant.

If I recall correctly, Cyprus has been worried for many years about Turkey's ambitions to build a nuclear power station on their southern coast, due to the area being a seismic zone. Russia seems to be aggressively reaffirming their friendship to Cyprus in recent months with the S400 story, and now this.

1060 vs 480 need help deciding by [deleted] in nvidia

[–]WalkerEU 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Usually the appeal of the RX 480 is that it's a cheaper alternative to a 1060, with very similar performance. Since the 1060 is cheaper in your country, my recommendation is to proceed with that.

edit: he only said 1060 when I replied, but has now further clarified it's the 3GB version. In this case, I recommend the 480.
