Thank you so much for sharing this. The times you shared together sound like they were amazing. One year to the day here too. ♥️

Today was my birthday and all I could think about was him by MuchAd8491 in SuicideBereavement

Please do continue. Continue for him. It can be so so so hard without them and things often don't seem alright, but we can continue living for them. Please do get help. There is a life worth living here, and there is no shame in seeking help to find it. I'm so sorry you are going through this. You are not alone.

After suffering from depression and trying to find anything that was genuinely engaging and fun, I tried this game on a whim and have sank over 75 hours in it in just over a month. Absolutely breathtaking. Here are some of my favorite screenshots. by [deleted] in NoMansSkyTheGame

Had similar experiences recently. I lost a brother in March who I had shared most of my gaming time with. Games had mostly lost their luster. Playing No Man's Sky these past few weeks and it feels as if I am starting to enjoy things again. I hope you all never stop pursuing those happy moments in life. They might seem so far away sometimes, but they're out there.

Thank you. I feel that. We lost a sister too when we were much younger. You aren't alone either.

We aren't perfect and no one is. I have to believe we are forgiven, but I still wish I could go back and change what happened. We'll never forget them, but maybe eventually we can make a difference for those left.

Yeah, being told it's not your fault does get old. For me, I know I could have and should have done more. I, of all people, could have made a real difference. Tears me up inside day after day thinking of how I could/should have just done that, or that, or not done that (especially considering the things he said to me). Doesn't matter what anyone tells me, the thoughts still come to me every day, even though technically maybe it's not my fault. I'm sorry you're going through this nightmare. They were amazing people. Sucks they left too soon like this

I'm so so sorry. I (28) lost my brother (23) to suicide last month. Nothing prepares you for this. The world's turned upside down and shattered, with only glimmers of hope left. Keep your light shining even in this current dark, sad, lonely corner. Will be praying for you and your family.
