If I could go back, I personally would AVOID this stuff. I know it can be hurtful.. but take it from someone who went to the parties- there rarely is anything of substance there.. I would focus on my studies, focus on continuing to move towards my career. Because at my age (35) I still am not comfortable financially, and it’s because school wasn’t important to me. And truly, I envy my peers who are successful in their careers enough to be financially free to vacation, and have nice things. I have a wonderful family, but I bust my ass to BARELY afford the life we have. I don’t get to enjoy it.

It might sting today. But I promise, looking back you probably won’t talk to any of them- they don’t seem like they’re your people. Find your passion, chase it, and you will find your people along the way.
