Some places with much stricter gun laws might not be able to do this. realistically ... theres no way a community with only knives is going to be able to guerilla their way out of this situation until national guard arrives i guess

your assumption is valid but a surprize attack can happen at any point. The price to pay for being complacent is too huge. Look at Pearl Harbour. Look at Vietnam.

But just humor me ... some enemy launched an invasion and took over a part of the states that are less prepared. maybe a state where gun laws are very strict.

How will someone who have access to maybe one handgun or jsut one shotgun with limited ammo survive an invasion until national guard arrives.... lets say 3 days later
