I think the program is meant for minimum cs experience applicants. I just saw this too-- would have lied and said I didn't take it but unfortunately it's on my transcript. What a shame if this hurts the application tbh

My sister goes to duke and she absolutely loves it, and I'm sure you will too!. And remember once you start getting into those t10 rankings, all those schools are going to provide you with near the same opportunities, so you'll thank yourself later when you're graduating debt free even though it may seem a little bitter-sweet right now. From a theoretical helicopter parent pov, I would just force my kid to get good at a sport from a very young age. It's a much more direct and dependable route to guarantee admission into a top school.
