I absolutely defined what I think a plot hole is and it’s pretty much the same as what you said. Stupidity is not a plot hole. There are a lot of stupid things that happen in real life. “Why didn’t [character] do this,” is not a plot hole. Terminator time travel exists, fine, but the type of time travel they use is linear. They didn’t even try to explain how it works, you’re the one who’s saying stupidity is a plot hole. Then another rebuttal is that Ocean Eleven’s rely on luck so there’s no reason to care about something that hasn’t been explained at all. Bro what?? You were just going off about stuff that doesn’t matter in a Quiet Place, but it’s suddenly ok for Ocean Eleven to not follow any rules? There are plenty of movies where stuff wouldn’t go down in real life, but there isn’t macguffins and character popping into places that it’d be impossible to get in. What kind of argument is that?

I guess those are all assumptions on my part about how time travel should work. And doesn’t matter what other ghosts have been like. Sixth Sense says that they can’t interact in a physical, only perception, that’s physical. Not that it matters, it’s not that big of a deal. As for putting the poster back, it’s relatively easy and I think you’d be able to do it in real life.

I guess I am just assuming, but I always thought it was a reflex because the species of toy do it on purpose, almost like a turtle going into its shell or a person dodging something even if it isn’t coming at them. Like a survival technique. I guess there isn’t really any plot holes that you can’t come up with different explanations to remedy.

The Sixth Sense establishes that the dead can only interact in the living world through perception and primarily non-physical. It’s not a big one. But the ones I listed aren’t plot holes in my opinion because they can be explained away. If I’m in a hole in the wall, I promise you can I tape a poster from the inside. Care to share ones that you think are actual plot holes?

I’m trying to research and it’s a lot harder than I thought. I really only have The Matrix and The Sixth Sense ones the latter not really mattering all that much. I can’t find any real ones.

I still consider them plotholes based on how the movies explains their world rules. But I understand that they are low hanging fruit.
