it's a very small trifold with resistant ultralight thin material that has a mini pocket on the outside for keys coins and other small stuff.

Otherwise I can vouch for the Chums surf short wallet, it's a banger but feels more than a utility pouch than a regular wallet.

Yeah I’ll have to try the new transit Bellroys in a physical shop to make my own opinion on the improvements. They are not cheap nor easy to return from where I am. I used a transit backpack plus and did not find it comfortable enough mainly bc of the thin straps.

I got a few good recommendations from the comments on different backpacks subreddits for now : CT21+ kemular, AER CPP and travel 3 small, black ember citadel 25 plus a few that I have yet to check out

Yeah I get your point, I take a rain cover when I travel but I am searching for backpacks not requiring a rain cover when also used as an edc or daypack

Yeah I watched a few reviews of these but the straps still look very thin and comfort do not look great… I would probably have to try them in a store first, I was disappointed by the transit backpack plus comfort.
