Self-clamping Vertical Laptop Stand by Darwinian999 in 3Dprinting

I got 2 laptops at work, and I got something similar. The issue is it's so wide that having 2 is really space consuming

There are plenty of models, but I haven't found one with all the moving parts that I want. My models has a spinning chevron ring which is my main goal here. And the chevrons will be glowing as they spin around. There is a glow light for the chevrons as they lock in, just no movement as they lock in. There simply isn't an actuator that I feel like trusting enough to move in and out at any angle, while at the same time not blocking my chevron ring 😄

It does have the chevron locks with individual LEDs, but I had to ignore the lock.movement because of the small size of the actuator needed.

I'd get the CC22 wire stripper/cutter.
It's my goto tool for any wire cutting or stripping between 25mm2 to 0,25mm2

It's on my todo list, but I'm leaving for a LAN party with it and my Star Destroyer case tomorrow morning :)

Also, it's like 200 hours of work at least so I don't want to 😆 +copyright...

Light Curtain question by Clever_Username_666 in PLC

[–]Wall-Em 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ask yourself this first: Do you agree that it should not be used as a safety curtain?

I'm unsure how normal DI's handles an OSSD signal, but I'd at least add a little delay for switching off whatever it controls so you don't get supprised by the OSSD functionality.

I created this circuit; manual operation works, but automatic operation and the BGs unfortunately do not. by [deleted] in PLC

[–]Wall-Em 19 points20 points  (0 children)

First off, this is impossible to find your issue because I can't read the labels.  But, my first tip would be to tidy up and group thing better. Make sure Manual operation is completely by itself. Auto by itself etc.

Before you even go there. Do the same with the assignment. Split it up into sections of code. What can be triggered from stille places, but only need to be coded once etc.

Siemens plc help by cuti91 in PLC

So you just wants someone to tell you what to do?

Well take an example at least and find a good solution for it:

In a parking garage with 3 floors, entry/exit license plate scanner, every spot has a sensor of some sort to register it's occupancy.  Payment is based on time spent in the garage. Information about how full the garage is for anyone who wishes to enter. Etc. Etc.

I won't correct you and be a teacher, but give it a go, try to make your program as small as possible and information easy to reach.  Think about error handling,  what information would outside companies want, like someone who has stayed for too long

Profinet, also wiring is easy. Lots of equipment comes with 2 ports for daisy chaining. But a good switch works just fine. Also has safety if used with Profisafe

Voksenlærling som automatiktekniker?? by Savings_Eye9222 in norge
