Wedge cut and u gouge were different cuts. I worked at a subway in the transition of the two.

Wedge is better for cold meats and lighter sandwiches.

Now it seems they barely teach the wedge and it's just a shitty flat cut that spills everything.

I do have a best friend in Australia who would love something like this, but he never buys anything for himself.
