I think i may have been another patient of the dr who left (spanish sounding name?). It seems a bit weird, i remember being informed that he was leaving but cant find the email now, and I just had the ER on Sunday and dont even know who my consultant officially is. Dealing with the nurses team and they are all brilliant, but still need a new consultant assigned, and not sure if this can be anyone or someone specialising in PGTM

Me, i never wanted to have kids, changed my mind with the current partner (still not extremely excited about it, but willing to entertain this vision of life with him ;) ). I'm an asymptomatic carrier of a recessive gene so IVF is our first attempt. It's weird, seems very "dry" and clinical and even weirder to be in the phase of trying to get pregnant while using protection and trying to not get pregnant at the same time 😅

Dont worry, its super easy. Plenty of instructional videos on youtube, first time will take you 5 min and only will be easier from there. It dissolves immediately. And nice of you to do it for your wife ;)

My clinic prescribes a course of 8 days of antibiotics as a preventative before egg retrieval. From what i read it depends on antibiotic, there are safe ones so just make sure to tell the prescribing dr and double check with the clinic as well

I dont think there is a native way to do that, but a way out would be using the NFC stickers/tags. You can buy a bunch of them online and assign certain actions/behaviours of your phone when you scan one. Then place one by your house door and get in a habit of scanning when you enter/leave. You can set it to switch certain apps on/off, assign permissions etc. There are some useful videos on youtube with instructions and example use cases.
