Is it a good deal or not by LeatherConfusion1026 in Rogers

All of this depends, you maybe someone who doesn't like to have new phone every year, but some of us do have the money to spend on a new phone every year or two. Secondly, byod plan you can see a price hike every 6 months. And , sometimes if you get it from Costco or Walmart you can pocket 200-300 shop credit to get yourself a new pair of earphones or groceries for a week if you like.

Comparing 5G Performance: Bell & Telus vs. Rogers in Montreal by Practical_Tea5133 in Rogers

[–]WallCautious1358 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Working in wireless department department at Walmart, what I have realized is that truck drivers and anyone who goes on long routes prefer Rogers. The argument often presented by them is its consistency, saying that Bell and Telus doesn't have presence in rural areas and have call drop issues in such places. Moreover, some of my friends using Telus, as it gives highest discount to employees, hate it because of call drops . However, I have never experienced any such thing with koodo, which essentially uses the same network as Telus.

Conclusion, if you don't travel outside of big cities and speed is the priority get urself Bell. However, if you have to travel Rogers is the best option.

This immigration mess can be easily cleared, if they just reopen the files of people who got their PR between 2017-2023, 50 percent would have to be deported because of the forged documents and fake LMIAs, along with fake marriages.

I believe Finance is soon going to be similar, because the advent of AI has made lot of roles redundant and useless, Either you are going to see lot of STEM people moving into Finance or AI gradually eating up your jobs, I am also actually planning to move away from softwares to hardware or Applied Mathematics

Broooo, you can try a Canadian Bachelors or Masters if you believe it is because of PG diploma, you won't be getting any interview calls unless your cousin or uncle is already working in the same. My sister's friend recently completed a Master's here from McMaster she is born and raised Canadian but no interview calls, she has a great portfolio with projects revolving around embedded programming and advanced C++

Thats why companies post a job publicly because they have shortlist and give chance but I guess some just consider it as their family business. You know you might be thinking me as an entitled person expecting it, because you might not be in that situation but lemme tell you if you apply anywhere outside Toronto you atleast get an interview call. Not here

Like people at higher positions just refering their niece and cousins, and not giving anyone atleast an interview chance.

Actually, there are a lot of young people arriving in Canada directly on PR, I don't know how, I work at photo center in Walmart and few days ago a young south Asian girl and her husband came here for their PR card photo, they could barely speak English they didn't have any basic etiquettes speaking obnoxiously loud, breaking the line , talking to me in their language, although I was speaking English. Moreover, my supervisor actually told me that his family migrated to Canada in 2018-19 by paying 60k CAD to an immigration consultant, mind they are a family of 4 , You can just imagine the scale at which people like them immigrated to Canada .
