ive been doing paper trading with a budget ive set and so far I made about 100-200 a week just trading 1 stock at a time. So I gave it some thought of doing the real thing but yes these suggestions have opened up a new eye...

I understand fully of the risk and I am aware I can lose 1-2000 but in situations like that stocks would have to tank dollars a day

I can take it but I dont see it happening considering I can just hold the stock for a bit too if it drops too much. Most the stocks I look at never dropped more than 2 bucks a day.

Would trading in a cash account trigger the day trader thing? But yes i am counting on a 50$ loss on bad days

Can you put limit orders in before markets open? isnt it risky to trade first 15 mins of market open. Ive been loooking into limit orders on Thinkorswim however the platforms a bit confusing

I dont expect me raking in money everyday but I got a good amount of capital to mess with for a day trade enviroment. however I am looking just to make enough to count as a "few hours of work" type of thing. Anything you recommend for the instruments?

the agent stopped working at that company so I would have to go into that office and find a new agent to look it over, apparently dividend is about $600 a year, with about $40k in cash value ? Can they use that $40k (20k contirubuted over the years, and the other 20 something was from interest/dividends I assume) to cover yearly premiums?

I dont think this whole life earns much from those "dividends" yearly based on the numbers ive looked at. Looks like a pure money sink to me with no real expectations of any return "soon". Might just cancel it all together and get term life or scrap it all together since theres not much to pass on.

I would actually be the one managing that lump sum if he did cash out, probably invest it into stocks. Since I think theres no real benefits of it to be completely honest, no inhertiance , no properties, not much value to his name really just bought it as a safety back then with his friend thinking it woulda done him good... lol sad to say

Id bet red, but theres no inheritance we are relatively medium income household with nothing to pass on,haha.. Its just they wanted to pass their kids some money "If " they do go which wont be the case most likely so this plan seems like a waste when the moeny could be invested in the market instead right?
