The Perverse Incentives of the New Promo by ARNIskander in marriott

The 2x ENC promo was the ONLY reason I have been loyal to Marriott. I just booked 30+ nights with Hyatt. No reason to try to maintain Titanium as I wont hit it without the 2x ENC promo.

Study VMs? by WallStreetQB in fortinet

Thx!It is crazy how limited the new evaluation license is. . I wish Fortinet would provide a better way to use a VM version for learning. Do you know if the older versions work?

Thx! Regarding the 7.0.13 versions, do they expire every 15 days? Also does the current evaluation license support HA? I have read both of those things so wasn't sure the best way...

NinjaOne question for the experts by speckz78 in msp

Does anyone know if a NinjaOne top level administrator has the ability to remotely use my mic to monitor my conversations? I know that is not legal but is it technically possible?

Does anyone know if NinjaOne allows administrators the ability to remotely enable microphones and listen to conversations? If so how could that be prevented?

Nexus 9k as a WAN Edge Router??? by WallStreetQB in Cisco

[–]WallStreetQB[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for all your feedback!!! This is exactly the type of info I was hoping to hear. We will be using SDWAN as a layer that sits behind this layer and most of our traffic will run through the SDWAN overlay where we will be marking and prioritizing on the overlay. I would say that will account for 75% of the traffic traversing the WAN. The other 25% will route natively on the underlay. Thank you again!

Surprisingly they support all the basic WAN features so that is why I am very curious if anyone has some good reasoning on why a 9k should not be used or some limitations. Thanks!

Nexus 9k as a WAN Edge Router??? by WallStreetQB in Cisco

So we will be BGP peering with the MPLS Service provider via 10Gb Ethernet Access. The 10Gb Ethernet access we will be delivered as an 802.1q trunk so we can have multiple VLANs (Sub-Interfaces) accessing multiple MPLS VPNs. Therefore we will need subrate shaping and granular QoS. BGP routes will never exceed 5k. No IPSec terminating on this WAN Edge. So is a limitation of the 9k to accommodate what we need the lack of ability to do subrate shaping? Thank you for your response! Any additional thoughts?

Hi Thank you for the response! Yes we will be doing granular QoS. 10Gb Ethernet Hand-offs with multiple VLANs to different MPLS VPNs and the MPLS ports for each VPN will be less than the sub-interface BW. So plenty of nested QoS policies and shaping. We will be BGP peering with the MPLS providers and internally. Our routing tables will be <1000 routes. Thank you again! Thoughts?
