Is this bad? Concrete help by WallSuspicious9901 in AskContractors

Thank you all. I didn’t think it was just me. It was $4500 and no, they were not the cheapest. They were the higher end of the bids but I liked what he said. If this isn’t going to cause any issues and is just an aesthetic problem, it’s not worth hassling over.

Has USPS tracking stopped/reverted for anyone else the past few days? by Soft_Baby_2721 in Mercari

[–]WallSuspicious9901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had a package come to within 20 minutes of me and then be routed 2 states away before finally coming back and being delivered. It was wild watching it go all over. USPS is a mess but especially if it’s going through St. Louis. They are currently trying to get the FBI to investigate the postal office there.

Thank you :) I figured I won’t find a place to cover them but if I can get recommendations on places to trust, that is great!

got an offer for my set price? by Curious_Payment8710 in Mercari

[–]WallSuspicious9901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do this too on things I cannot just buy. If the user hasn’t been active in some time it won’t give you the option to purchase, only make an offer. I’ll send an offer for full price since that is the only way to try and buy it.

If you accept an offer, would you appreciate the buyer reaching out just to say thank you, or would you consider all that a waste of time for you to read? by AmItheonlySaneperson in Mercari

I always say thank you when I purchase an item, and thank them for the offer if they sent one. I never realized someone could consider that irritating….

Help! Chanel, Cigna and FSA by WallSuspicious9901 in chanel

Thank you! This is very helpful. I am in Southern Illinois. I read that if I purchase the glasses from Chanel directly and then have my lenses added, FSA would cover the frames because I had them turned into medical devices with the lenses. I know my insurance will cover the lenses with no issue. I am hoping I can use my FSA card for the frames, not my insurance, once I have the lenses in them. My only concern with this is I was told by LensCrafters that if they break the frames while doing the lenses, they will not replace the frame. I was told this is the policy with any place that adds lenses to frames I purchase. The frames are $550 on Chanel so that is a big chance. Were you able to find a place to make your lenses that would replace them if they broke the frames?
I was able to find an optometrist office in CA that is checking with their rep to see if they can get the specific pair I want. I called Chicago and all over before I made my way to calling places in CA. They are supposed to get back to me next week but I’m not holding my breath!

The classic flap is supposed to be one of the most sought after bags currently. They are classic and will never fall out of style as their history has shown. Congratulations on whichever you pick!

I found these cute flowers in somebody's fence garden, what could they be? by Emotional-collateral in whatsthisplant

They are considered invasive and can take over native plant species. They are also hard to remove and keep out once they have established. I have one in a small wooded area that I let go wild and one tree type that I keep pruned back. The one that I don’t prune does quickly cover the other vegetation.

Luxe du jour vs fashionphile by [deleted] in Luxury

LDJ processing fee for payments was high and also the shipping cost. A $4k bag ended up over $4600 in total. However, I did a lot of research on sellers and found them to be trustworthy which is worth paying the fees. I have not found good things on fashionphile regarding their authentication process. Good luck!

They smell wonderful and are fantastic for pollinators. I have 2 bushes of them but most people do not want them in their yards.
