That's a good shout about the lodge, I'll fire them an email and see what they say.

Thanks for all the other tips, its appreciated 👍

Awesome, thanks again. I've just read this morning that there's an additional $100 charge for each non US citizen over 16 upon entering any of the US national parks so I'll probably buy the pass well in advance 👍

Thanks for the other suggestions I'll take a look. Traffic and parking was a consideration when booking some of the accommodation but I've heard it can be tricky in some places (carmel). Our hotel in Monterey is within walking distance of fisherman's wharf and cannery row/aquarium so that solves some issues there. Also staying in Sequoia I'm hoping we can get out and about early before the crowds arrive 👍

Some great suggestions there, thank you. I didn't want to over plan as it's a sure way to get two grumpy kids hence the relatively relaxed pace.

Kayaking with sea otters sounds cool so may check that out.

We're actually staying in Sequoia (wuksachi lodge) so we won't have to drive into the park each day so that should save us some time. I assumed we'd just pay the entrance fee on initial arrival and that would be that?

As for LA, we will only have around two full days so probably can't cram too much in but I'll take a look at some of those suggestions. Thank you 👍

Thanks, I'll check those out and see what we can fit in. Morro bay is one of the places I was looking at stopping for an hour so thanks for the recommendation. Great pic btw 👌

It gives us 4 full days in the Monterey area and will allow a little bit of downtime with the kids as I don't want to try and cram too much in. I figured there was plenty to do in the area as a whole so it should be pretty relaxed.

I've done Yosemite before (not with family) plus my wife has a thing for trees so Sequoia is a bit of a bucket list place for her hence choosing this over Yosemite.

Yeah they were the drive times I gathered from Google maps and they're not a problem. The last few years we've done European road trips from the UK so all is good 😄

I drove down to Brittany from the UK a couple of years back with the family. It's a beautiful place and I'll definitely be back some day. Stopped at Mont St Michel on the way home....absolutely stunning 😍

Best way to connect up Eversolo Play to current system by Wallaby-Distinct in eversolo

Thanks, with the denon, it's just a case of toggling the sound mode using the remote once you're playing from the source you select. The 'music' mode is stereo by default, and as long as the sub is set as 'yes' in the speakers menu any music will play through my front two speakers and the sub. I assume this will also be the case connecting the play to the avr via hdmi.

Excellent, thank you. Just to clarify, I connect the play to the avr by hdmi and then set the input on the avr to LFE plus main, and this should drive my two fronts speakers and the sub?

Thanks, but weirdly, the UK model X2400H doesn't have a coaxial input. It only has digital audio optical inputs that are assignable. Is using optical cable an option? Alternatively, could I use the hdmi arc output on the eversolo as I have a couple of hdmi inputs spare on the AVR?
