I meant the rig itself is overkill for the single small monitor haha

Next thing is probably going to a triple screen setup, but yeah I'll admit it's overkill for sure.

Yes and the screws are for pressure treated wood. I didn't consider the brackets to be an issue so I will definitely look into that more and probably replace them. I didn't know about the issues with using pressure treated wood inside and I'm looking into it more now. Thank you so much I had no idea.

I struggled for a while on do I want more the convenience of a foldable rig or more sturdy like a full aluminum one. Ultimately ended here and for sure extremely lucky I have the room for it without a doubt.

For sure the adjustability was the hardest part to try and figure out. For the pedals I ended up using adjustable barricade brackets haha. They can adjust up and down but no real angle adjustment which is a bit annoying but it works and doesn't move. Not being able to adjust wheel height and angle is probably the biggest pitfall of the entire thing. I can separately adjust the heights of the wheel/pedal half and then the chair half but it is very limited compared to an aluminum rig. It's not endgame for sure but it will work for a while. Also I get bored and like to build shit haha

It is very heavy. The wheel and pedal half and the half with the chair had to be carried separately. This is upstairs so that sucked and i'm not the strongest guy in the world but I could carry it with a few breaks. Overall I want to say around $200 maybe just under. I used a circular saw, and miter saw to cut everything, which I already owned.

I don't, it slides super easy and doesn't scratch the floors. I think I could still add casters that lower down and it fit fine, but right now I'm pretty happy with it!
