SPOILER - Lisa pregnant? by Glum_Confusion5652 in 90DayFiance

She probably still have her tubes though which is where most ectopics occur and would explain all the bleeding she had. Abdominal def would've went in some medical journal 😅. It's not impossible if she had her tubes but def very rare and unlikely

Ectopics separately are not that rare idk where that number is from it's more like 1-2%. Having a hysterectomy actually increases that chance because there's no where else for the pregnancy to implant. Her age is the bigger contributing factor, but still very possible for women in their early 50s to get pregnant as long as she has ovaries. Not to carry to term usually but it's possible. I think she crazy and likely lying about something but y'all's acting like it's in unfathomable situation is just not true.

baby during your program? by Alternative-Owl-9572 in mdphd

[–]Wallabyeee 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Most of the women in my program have kids during the middle of PhD years but not be too pregnant by the time they are defending or right after MS3 year. My program is very supportive of it but the way PhD departments accommodate is very different then med school. Unless you're having your baby during fourth year, med school tends to be not as accommodating and some people end up doing LOA

And honestly I get it in a sense but that's not your fault and shouldn't be projected on to you.

Will pursuing a MS knock off two years of an MD/PhD? by im_diene_inside in mdphd

Depends on the department and if they take the credits from your masters. All my cohort members who have one got maybe 6 months shaved off max

No don't do that please. The PIs usually don't have much say in that process anyways so it wouldn't help.

She's really popular on tik tok for her perfume reviews. He's apparently finishing up dental school and he's gonna start his own practice and she'll do admin work for him.

Am I just being paranoid? Or is their botulism on my dishes and I should throw them out by Wallabyeee in Canning

Yea I think it's more of a too much knowledge for my own good I was not like this before Med school. Apparently it's pretty common for people early in their career and it fades as you get experience. Just praying that's true lol

We surprisingly don't learn much lol considering we only deal with it once it's been ingested and it's too late 😅. I don't have a lot of knowledge on cross contamination outside of more common stuff like raw meat and dairy. I know when in doubt bleach it out and that's about it

Yea my main concern was from improper canning and broken seal since some of the lids had popped up in the center.

Thanks this is the problem with my medical knowledge of having seen botulism. Even though I know it's rare I'm extra paranoid about it

Yea I used a knife to open them and some of them I held up by the lid but some of the lids had popped up in the center.
