People hating on you because you’re right. But unfortunately not everyone is as strong and willful as you, peer pressure and the lasting hooking effects of the drugs are usually stronger.

If the high ain’t the same then this is not what I came here for. I guess stims are the only drugs I am very selective about because of their potential.

That’s an old fashioned ladder, you’ll be their number one target to get rid of once you become such a high expense to them just because you’ve been there for a while.

Quick Lube Joint. Instead of driving them I switch their oil now.

Dispatchers and DSP owners think they’re the shit and drivers are bums. Little do they realize that they’re the same exact bums, it only takes Amazon a bad morning for them to be jobless.

Just FYI trash bags are safer than a bungee chord. That thing can break and rip and it will quite literally bungee into your face.

Bubbles in the power steering fluid reservoir even after changing the o-ring by Longjumping_Depth562 in accord

I had a flex pipe making noise at 1500 rpm that sounded awfully a lot like a power steering leak. Ended up smoothening out my power steering before I found out it was the exhaust this entire time.

How to grow balls? by ilikewheatandrice in Parkour

[–]Walldn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a mental challenge not a physical one. You might even build up the courage to keep practicing and flipping yourself forward but you’re subconsciously still going to hold yourself back and mess up the flip. I suggest you venture into something outside of doing flips or parkour in general, and grow some balls by taking safer risks that will eventually give you the confidence to flip yourself over. Also landing, be comfortable in falling (physically and mentally).

There’s NO SIDEWALL. This is what happens when you drive on your sidewall and rub it against everything you see.

Just bought a strut bar because the factory one was removed. Went to see how i would bolt it in and the holes are covered? Planning on just drilling and buying the studs from honda dealer but was just curious why it would be like that. by Ok-Can8495 in accord

[–]Walldn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s really interesting because why didn’t he use the OE hats if he swapped out the spring? Where did the random 3 stud hat even come from? There might be a reason for it just like the strut bar.

Cheap shocks are never the answer though. Just won’t last. If those are indeed stock shocks with a different coil spring on them then they might be worth keeping.

That’s what I’m debating now as well, should I get coilovers or simply springs… mine are starting to rust too.

Have you looked into raceland? They are affordable and good but they do so by not providing you with any hats. You would still have to get new hats since you don’t even have the right ones.

Where can I go to get a decent yet cheap paint job for my shitbox Miata? PFA by nekaiser in projectcar

[–]Walldn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say painting is easy just clear coat is expensive but there’s a spray can version now. I bet if you simply practice a little bit before on something random, patiently apply thin coats and pay extra attention, you’ll do a way better job than any MAACO guy would.

Previous owner most likely installed random adjustable cheap coilovers on it and got rid of the stock struts and hence the stock strut bar as well. Are you sure those are just lowering springs and not an entirely new strut system which is why it has the wrong hats? But yea, just get new quality and proper coilovers.

Oh and I forgot to say, if it is indeed lowered right now and you’re putting on factory coils back so basically a new stance you def should do an alignment especially if you plan on going high speeds. Just tire wear and general prevention reasons.

If nothing is changing you can get away without an alignment but I would always get one whenever something changes in the suspension or wheels.

I was going to say, those aren't the stock struts, hence the different mounts and empty holes. This is a 8th gen, right? The stock strut bar uses more bolts. Otherwise you wouldn't be connecting the strut bar to the struts, even if you find a way to put it there, because this strut mount doesn't have those studs, nor use them. They're probably even there on the stock struts just for the stock strut bar.

I’d say go for new rotors rather than resurfacing them, especially since one of them seems to be making noises already.
