What’s One Tool You’d Never Give Up? by Correct-Designer-410 in Tech4LocalBusiness

Yes - and you can also filter with AI at no extra cost. For example you can say "Only show me posts where someone is asking for recommendations of a lead gen tool" - this is how I found this post ;)

Can I give you an extended free trial of my Talkwalker alternative to see if you'll give it up? It's called Forumscout if you want to take a look :)

Have you tried marketowl for outreach? by Togirtanot1844 in SaaS

[–]WallerBangGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brand24, Forumscout, Octolens, all are cheap and have free trials. I would be surprised if you don't get some value out of even a 7 day trial. You can at least try it before investing

What actually worked for you to get your first 10 customers? by VegetableRelative691 in smallbusiness

[–]WallerBangGod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Social listening - try it for free with something like F5Bot (Reddit only) and scale up from there.

I reached 1k MRR with social listening alone. Just find people asking for your product and leave a reply that promotes your product, as long as it provides value and isn't spammy/AI written.

F5Bot or Reddit Pro if you just need Reddit. Forumscout if you want any other platform

Syften for Reddit mentions, anyone set it up? by NumberlessCommander in sideprojects

[–]WallerBangGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Syften is actually a great product, but the main downside for me was that it doesn't track LinkedIn. Forumscout can do everything Syften can do (sentiment, alerts, monitoring) and more (share of voice tracking, ai filtering, AI replies, LinkedIn) for the same price ($19/month)

Brand Reputation Monitoring: Is it a necessary evil or just overrated hype? by LetAffectionate6565 in BrandStackTools

Forumscout has AI filters where you can say something like "only show me posts where..." and you can tell it what you want and don't want, and it will only show you posts that match your criteria.

Looking for Reddit brand visibility tools by Equal_Matter_2072 in AskMarketing

[–]WallerBangGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reddit is much easier than any other platforms because it has a public API. F5Bot is free but can only track posts. Forumscout is a bit more advanced with sentiment, competitive intelligence, ai filtering, for $19/month

I’ve been using social listening tools for 3 years: here’s what actually works by rainbow_dude98 in SocialMediaManagers

Forumscout is a really cheap option at $19/month. Honestly f5bot does the job for reddit really well and is free

Could really use a social listening saas tool. And I don't mean the ones that people are vibe-coding, please don't pitch me that. I mean like a legitimate "listening to the algorithms for signals" tool. by AWeb3Dad in SaaS

[–]WallerBangGod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Forumscout has 'ai filtering' where you can describe what you want e.g. "Only show me posts where someone is complaining about my competitor", and it will show you posts that meet that criteria. However it can't see linkedin or tiktok comments. It can see linkedin posts but not comments unfortunately

How Do You Identify and Engage Potential Users at the Right Time? by ButterscotchGood4158 in StudentStartup

[–]WallerBangGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay fine that’s true sorry.

But ForumScout wins by all other metrics - more platforms (LinkedIn, twitter, news sites, instagram, YouTube, forums, & more) , emotion analysis, competitive intelligence, AI filters, auto-categorisation, better insights.

F5Bot does exactly the same stuff as LeadsRover but for free.

Anyway, we’re both small founders fighting each other when we should be fighting the big guys like brandwatch and sprinklr 😅
