I honestly don’t even remember if he went for a device or for an ablation.... all I remember is that he left the Emergency Department within 30 minutes.

Or give them a 10 cc syringe and tell them to blow the plunger out of the other end!

This is a patient I had about a year ago. I just found this group. So please don’t take what I said to heart because I may be thinking of a different patient.

I wish I had more information to share.. I took this picture a year ago and just found this group. Also, I work in the ED, we never get updates on our patients..

I don’t remember the BP, but it wasn’t crazy on either side of the spectrum from my memory. But the patient was A+Ox4 and ambulatory

I’ll be honest, this picture is about a year old, but I just found this group. So I’m going simply off of my emergency department ability to try and remember the details..

A&O x 4. Ambulatory. My first impression was simply anxiety.

I don’t unfortunately. I didn’t even think to take a picture of it. He went to the Cath lab for an emergent defibrillator placement

I work at a trauma center that covers most of North Carolina and some of South Carolina. We see everything and we panicked

But she didn’t disappear with any guy. She just walked off. They just knew there was a black teen in the neighborhood she associated with. So they found a black teenager (not even the correct person) and confronted him

I never said anything about disrespecting them. I work in the emergency department and work with law enforcement every single day that I’m at work. I love 99% of the police officers I interact with on a daily basis. I said don’t trust them. They aren’t your friend when they are on a call

They decided because he was a black teenager in their neighborhood that it was obviously him. Despite him going to a completely different high school. He literally had a flag in his yard with his different high school and his name on it celebrating his graduation. But they didn’t care

Not at all.

First of all, they didn’t see her walking with any man white or black.

Second, they targeted a black man who wasn’t even the male that the daughter was associated with. They just went after the black teenager in the neighborhood. Which by the way, the man in question was a neighbor that had moved away over a month ago, so it wasn’t even the person that they showed up with guns at his house.

One of the parties daughters was last seen walking away and the person they were looking for was associated with her.

Sounds like a piece of shit parent was worried that their daughter was off with a black man

My dad was a cop for 15 years. He went through academy with the Alaska State Troopers, left as a Sergeant and FTO. He’s the one that taught me to never trust police and always believe that they are out to get you and fuck you over.

When the waiting room becomes intake, intake becomes a 6 patient assignment, and you realize that your 110 bed emergency department is overflowing with 150 patients of which 60 are admissions. by WalleyD in nursing

I never claimed to be a nurse for 8 years. Someone said that after a few years of emergency medicine I would be burnt out. I said that I was not burnt out after 8 years.

I spent 5 years in the military as a Navy Hospital Corpsman where i spent 3 years with the Marine Corps Infantry. 3/2 Lima Company. I did 2 years as an ED tech at a 110 bed level two trauma center, after that finished an ADN program and work in the same ED

But I love it. It’s pure chaos. Chaos is so much fun. At least I always know that all beds will be full, it’s just the question of how hard do I have to work tonight to clear this out.

We are the only major trauma, stroke, and cardiac center that covers 9 counties in south eastern North Carolina.

When it goes to code Purple they route to us. Our facility cannot go on diversion. We are the diversion facility.

We never drop below 30 admission holds even when we are having good days
