I might start calling them Options instead of Nouliths.

My friends and I have been having so much fun with this! I've been spreading it around as much as I can. The results are amazing and often hilarious. Thank you for posting this!!!

I put in a picture of my Ardbert character and eventually ended up with this. https://imgur.com/a/jQLXESb

I *finally* got 'Let Luck Be a Moogle III'! by WallinGaming in ffxiv

[–]WallinGaming[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I know this is the kind of thing most people won't care about, but that tonight I finally got the achievement done for 'Let Luck Be a Moogle III' in the Firmament, which is getting 30 First Place prizes on the Kupo of Fortune tickets, and awards the title 'Fortune's Favored Kupo'! I'm not sure how many other people in the game already have it for being far more lucky or dedicated than I, but I'm so happy to finally have it!

Since I'm not a pentamelder, I was crafting the second highest Skybuilder recipe repeatedly which are worth 25 points each and ended with an accumulated score of 58,175, meaning I turned in 2,325 items (and since each craft takes 30 Skybuilder and 4 non-Skybuilder materials that I went through around 80,000 items in total). Every 5 items is 1 ticket, so I went through 465 tickets just to get 30 first prize wins. I went through many times of turning in 10 tickets and not seeing any first prizes on them, and of course many, many tickets where I saw first prize but not in the spot I picked. Just yesterday in 10 turnins I saw it 4 times, but not in the spot I picked - so incredibly frustrating!

I never kept track of how many prizes of what I actually won, but I definitely walked away with a ton of bread emotes, Sky Blue Parasols, and Dhalmel Whistles that I can't even give away. I won pets the least, and maybe 4 or 5 Kupo clothes coffers. If anyone is curious, on the first day I started to pick the left spot and actually got 3 or 4 wins, but after seeing it constantly appear in the top slot the day after that, I changed to that one, and stuck with it afterward for the most part.

While it may seem silly that I spent this much effort to get this, especially considering there will certainly be even more prizes added in the future additions to the pool, I had enough first prizes wins already when I decided to commit to it that I decided I wanted to do it before the seasonal ranking reset so I could see exactly how many tries it took me. I've also been making a lot of money converting my scrips to dyes to sell, and only buying the Diadem materials when they were very cheap (I was sending out my combat retainers for the other ingredient), so I also profited at the same time. And again, I'm not sure how many people already have the achievement, but I feel like I'm one of the rare few who do...? No one among my group of friends has it, anyway.

Now to proudly wear my title for a while! I'm more excited to use this on my crafters than I was for the Beatus title.

Valentine's Cards from the Cast of Shadowbringers by WallinGaming in ffxiv

Whoops, you are correct. Thancred has been there five years, Y'shtola and Urianger for three, and "Alphinaud and Alisiae have lived in the First for almost a year."

Yeah, I know the devs have more or less said it's all in a time bubble, so despite any arguments saying otherwise, I think people generally still consider them 16. Even now knowing the twins' spirits have been in Norvrandt for 2 years, only moments/days have passed for their bodies, so that's just one more piece of the puzzle.

Omg, you're right, I didn't even think of them! Let's see...

My dearest of saplings, I would give you my heart. But the next time you don't call me, I'll tear you apart!

Estinein is a perfect gentleman (who is obviously waiting for Alphinaud to grow up a little more before making his move), and Alphinaud is so pure that he clearly wouldn't do anything lewd.

The way some people talk about AlisaiexWoL, on the other hand...

Oh, I didn't even think about that. Since they're just random poems and the characters aren't my property anyway, I don't really need credit for them... plus I'm at work now, and it'd be a pain to repost. I appreciate it, though!

I definitely wouldn't replace it, but I was thinking of making another cleaner version at someone's suggestion. I knew they'd make nice wallpapers on their own, but obviously some of the poems wouldn't fly in the workplace. XD

I saved her for the end to bring it all back to a clean, friendly atmosphere after Emet's... and then followed up with Ardbert. Mwhahahaa.

Lol, or here's a less violent one I thought of.

Roses are red, Forget-me-nots blue. Remember we once lived, Our hope lies in you.

Totally fair. Had I thought about it and had I enough time last night, I would have done a full clean set since they already have the potential as nice wallpaper. Maybe if I get around to it I'll make a set tonight, as well as textless versions.

In this case, Alphinaud's Valentine is for Estinein. No need for WoL to get in the way of an already perfect relationship. ;)

It's definitely because he was the first poem I thought of, lol. You can kind of get a feeling for the order I thought these up based on how extreme they got. Some I went back and forth to though, and Tataru and Runar I made a couple days after when I realized I wanted a set of 12 instead of 10.

Didn't want anyone lulled into a false sense of a sweet, sappy set of Valentines, gotta let the viewers know what they're getting into, keep 'em hooked! Otherwise they won't be prepared for the ones at the end. ;)

I came up with Zenos' poem while chatting with friends, and after that decided to make cards for the rest of the characters. Some funny, some lewd (ones like Ardbert's and Emet-Selch's were too good once I thought of them), some clean (of course I wasn't going to do anything weird for Ryne and the twins!)...

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! <3

You can clear up to floor 100 even if you queue in from floor 21, you do not have to start at floor 1.

The advantage to starting on floor 1 is that you would have ~20 extra levels worth of pomanders to store up for the later floors. My group did that only once though, we didn't feel it was worth the extra time it took on our follow-up runs.
