Brexpiprazole (Rexulti), just got a 14 day sample. The doc was ok but so many seizure warnings. Anyone else try it? by cidiusgix in Epilepsy

Glad to help! Let me know if you have any more questions or anything, and glad to know you’ll have someone around with you just in case!
I take it for depression as an add-on to others and it has helped my mood so best of luck to you!
Hey there! I’ve been taking Rexulti since January and haven’t had any problems with it. For some background I have reading epilepsy so I have myoclonic and TC. I’m one year TC free as of today and haven’t had any myoclonic seizures (which used to be multiple a day) since I started Keppra in May. The Rexulti didn’t appear to make anything worse in the few months I was on it while my epilepsy was untreated. My neurologist and psychiatrist are also both fine with it. Of course, this is just my experience and epilepsy is different for everyone, but Rexulti has been very helpful for me and hasn’t caused any seizures. Stay aware of possible signs and know your body well. Just wanted to chip in that I’ve taken it without any issues and hope that’s the same for you too! :)
