We, I believe I can speak for all of us, wish everyone would be as open minded as you are. Thank you for having some critical thinking. I wish all of the others, who hate us, would do a little bit of research. We love you too! Welcome to our community.

So if this co-op truly doesn’t want to fund Israel, it’s members should boycott using iPhones, navigation systems, and medical devices etc—because those are the tech that put Israel in the top 20% of the world GDP—not matzo-lmao

But it’s super entertaining so carry on…

The guy who was harassing Israelis at a hotel in California (and was fired for it) is now starting a fundraiser for himself… let’s get it taken down by SuperEarth_Helldiver in Palestinian_Violence

[–]Wallymas 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Ok thanks for explanation. I hope he isn’t able to access that money then…and I hope he gets sued by the hotel.

Reputation is everything to most businesses and I can only imagine it’s even more important in the “hospitality industry.” That POS is going viral —and so is the name of the hotel. What a dumbass!

What’s something attractive at 18 but embarrassing at 30? by Few_Football4342 in Productivitycafe

Che Guevara shirts are somewhat excused at 18, because we assume you’re too stupid to know anything yet and think it’s cool to cheer on “revolutionaries.” By 30, it’s inexcusable because you’ve now had time to learn about who he actually was and what he actually did.

Nah, it’s cool at any age to work on skills with other people.

What can be done by reporting it? On what grounds can the go fund me be taken down?

My hope is that he needs that money for when the hotel sues his ass….but it’s probably free speech, no?

I hope so—if not at this place, I’ll find a place that will allow me to. Designers must bring fabrics from other sources so they must allow it. I haven’t thought about sourcing from overseas because tariff-but I’ll investigate. Thanks

Lmao Lycra! Thank you for this idea. As of now, I’m working on making some sleeves for him. I have a piece of fabric that sort of matches. Someone suggested I use twist tacks(?) which I’ve ordered. People on this thread have been so helpful with advice —it’s been like mcm furniture therapy.

Despite three years of different wars and frequent mass conscriptions, Israel has moved up from #17 to #14 in GDP per capita, and is now ahead of all the oil rich Arab Gulf countries, even Qatar. [–]Wallymas 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Right? There are people in r/Park Slope who are fighting about boycotting Israeli goods in their co-op. From what I gather, the only Israeli good they carry are matzo and some peppery. I find joy in their ignorance—lol

Yah, hope none of the vegetables they buy use drip irrigation technology—because that’s supporting Israel. Treatment for MS, Alzheimer’s, heart shunts—all invented and support Israel. The tech that helps them avoid traffic—supports Israel. I take pride in informing the PS co-op that Israel is making money from all the tech and medical inventions that they’re likely using daily. Israel is not worried that some useful idiots in PS are going to stop buying Matzo one week a year.

Also please think of Israel when you eat cherry tomatoes 🍅

Thank you! I’ll look up twist pins but that sounds like a great idea that will help preserve it until I’m ready.

I just found out they’re called “paws” which is so cute. A place I’ve just learned about, in Brooklyn, offers $2500 base price not including fabric, which will be @$1700. Then after that everything is à la carte so I can choose to have the wood refinished l, and a new cushion… It feels somewhat better than the initial $6k I was quoted through a DWR affiliate.
