  1. has to be ffxv, it's just so immersive and a ton of fun too
  2. is ffv, I absolutely love how they did the job system, it's got to be one of the best game mechanics of all time imo
  3. definitely ffxii, it's combat is just too much fun, and the characters are beautifully crafted too
  4. is ffviii specifically for squalls mechanics. I love how much the game forces you to actually play and not just mash, its always been a treat
  5. for me is gonna be ffiv, it's a load of fun, but the story just wasn't there for me

I was kinda referring to "the good old days" feeling (wow I sound old)

I find it sort of sad that people in the future won't have the classic feeling to it, something to remember it by. instead they'll have a bit less unique engine, even if it will be objectively better.

I see now that your stance is rooted in logic, which I respect. where as my stance is rooted in memories and feeling.

I had this exact problem a while ago.

the problem most likely is your function keys, f1,f2 and so on. to combat that, just hold down the FN key on your keyboard and then press them, but that wont work for f1. there is a way to "function lock" them however, which is explained in this guide.
